Japanese arrive: KCCI welcomes JETRO mission

A mission from Japan under the aegis of Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO) Tuesday visited the Karachi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI) to hold business-to-business (B2B) meetings to discuss the possibilities of undertaking joint ventures.


JETRO mission represented various businesses including machinery trading, consumer products, precision cutting tools, banking, and aftermarket parts sales. Leader of the mission, Nobuyuki Nagasawa, while highlighting the purpose of their visit to Karachi, said that members are keen to undertake joint ventures with their Pakistani counterparts as it offers immense opportunities in various sectors of the economy.


Mizuho Bank Limited Japan Senior Manager Asia and Oceania Division Hisanori Matsubayashi, during his presentation, informed that Mizuho Bank was looking forward expanding its operations by opening offices in Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh.
