Air pollution

The presence of pollutants in the air harms not only humans, but also animals, plants and insects

KARACHI: Air pollution in the atmosphere is a huge danger for human beings. The presence of pollutants in the air harms not only humans, but also animals, plants and insects.

According to a World Health Organisation report, seven million people across the world lost their lives because of air pollution in 2012. Air pollution is a real risk. While we spend all our time fretting about diseases that are not all that threatening, some attention needs to be given to the real threat at our doorsteps: air pollution.
