Denial of human rights

Letter November 18, 2014
An advocacy campaign for the more effective implementation of human rights is very much needed

ISLAMABAD: Regrettably, the continued denial and the persistent lack of protection of human rights in rural Pakistan, particularly in Sindh and Balochistan, is a result of various administrative obstacles, including the monster of corruption and the impunity of the ruling elite. But do rulers care about this unjust society?

Against this backdrop, an advocacy campaign for the more effective implementation of human rights is very much needed in different parts of the country, especially in Sindh.
