Trade interest: Finland, Pakistan aim for cooperation

Finnish envoy expresses keen interest in enhancing bilateral trade relations with Pakistan

Finland’s Ambassador Rauli Suikkanen has expressed keen interest in enhancing bilateral trade relations with Pakistan.

“Finnish Embassy has successfully reactivated Finland-Pakistan Trade Council that will help boost mutual relations,” he said, exchanging views with Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RCCI) President Syed Asad Mashadi.


Ambassador informed that two mega events were organised under Finland-Pakistan Trade Council with the first in Islamabad and the second in Helsinki, Finland to promote trading activities between the two countries.


He said that Pakistani products, especially textiles, are very much liked in Finland and ensured his full cooperation to the RCCI.


Speaking on the occasion, Mashadi said Pakistan has many investment opportunities and Finnish businessmen community must explore the country’s market.
