Territorial jealousy: Milkman shot dead by colleague

Darahma police have registered a case against the suspects at the behest of the victim’s family

DERA GHAZI KHAN: A milkman was shot dead by another after they argued in Dera Ghazi Khan on Wednesday. Police said Muhammad Shafiq, a resident of Haji Ghazi Gharbi, was about to leave for his morning deliveries in Kaheri when he was stopped by Khadim Hussain who wanted to sell milk in the same area.

They said when Shafiq did not listen to him, Hussain and his friends, Fayyaz and Laal, shot him. Shafiq died on the spot and the suspects fled. Darahma police registered a case against the suspects at the behest of the victim’s family. The body was handed over to the family after post-mortem examination.
