Action must be taken strictly according to the law and no authority can act outside of it.
KARACHI: If $10,000 can be legally brought into the country then why was £5,000 brought the other day by a PIA pilot confiscated by customs? If this was done because it was over the legal amount then why was he not prosecuted?
If the crew was involved in smuggling Iphones, why were they let off? Does the relevant law permit confiscation in lieu of non-prosecution? Action must be taken strictly according to the law and no authority can act outside of it. Without discipline, and respect for the law, no nation can ever progress. Educated people should be the first to understand this and act accordingly to set an example.
