Infringements: HCCI complains about land-grabbing

The delegation pointed out that increasing encroachment in business areas

HYDERABAD: A delegation of the sub-committee of Hyderabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (HCCI) on Local Bodies and Municipal Affairs, headed by its Chairman Abid Mian Dehalvi, held a meeting with the administration of the Hyderabad Municipal Cooperation (HMC) Shah Muhammad Shah here at his office on Thursday. The delegation pointed out that increasing encroachment in business areas particularly Market Tower is causing difficulties to the business community and their work. The delegation also apprised the HMC administrator about the absence of street lights and poor health and sanitation conditions in the business centres of Hyderabad. Additionally, the delegation mentioned an increase in the rent of municipal properties and taxes as unfair towards the business community.
