Half-fried egg and health hazards

Letter September 15, 2014
I want to inform that half-fried eggs may contain some hepatitis viruses, bacteria such as salmonella.

LAHORE: Most people are oblivious of the fact that a half-fried egg is a host to some lethal pathogens. It is an ardent desire of most people to have half-fried eggs in their breakfast. Being a microbiologist, I want to inform that half-fried eggs may contain some hepatitis viruses and bacteria species such as salmonella and clostridium botulinum which cause food poisoning. Spores of these organisms remain alive in half-fried eggs but they are completely eradicated if the egg is full fried.
