West Indies off-spinner Sunil Narine retained his second place while South Africa fast-bowler Dale Steyn’s 10 wickets for 212 runs in the triangular series moved him to the third spot, replacing England’s James Anderson.
In the batting rankings, South Africa’s Faf du Plessis stormed to the top following a stellar performance against Australia in Harare during which he scored 464 runs and played a leading role in his side’s victory in the triangular series. He scored three centuries in five matches at the new number three position.
Du Plessis is the fourth South Africa batsman to feature inside the top 11, with captain AB de Villiers regaining the number one position from teammate Hashim Amla and Quinton de Kock slipping two places to ninth position.

Why is it whenever Pakistan do better in any sports, they are targeted for wrong doing,Doesnt Pakistan governing body have reponsibility to sport their players.Ajmal has been outstanding bowler for so many years, and now he is the leading odi ranking, and now hes found the his bowling action is wrong, where were they before, when Pakistan lost some matches. PCB should back their players not just accept the decisions of loosers.
@syedpk: it makes sense to those who understand the sarcasm behind it..
@Goldconsumer Your comments would have made sense if the article hadnt mentioned the action controversy. Right now you just appear to be bozo replying to headline without reading even the first line of the article
Oh, you mean the guy with a "suspected" bowling action?
