A year has passed and applicants are in third semester of MPhil programme but scholarship list yet to be announced
CHITRAL: In July 2013, the Higher Education Commission invited applications for scholarships under the indigenous PhD fellowship programme for MPhil leading to a PhD. A year has passed and the applicants are now in their third semester of MPhil programme but the Commission has still not announced those who have been selected for the scholarship. This brings into question tall claims of prioritising human resource development and higher education by the federal government and in particular Minister of Planning and Development Ahsan Iqbal.
