Redressing complaints: Zakat minister holds public hearing

Chief Minister directed the minister for works and services to carry out the repair and maintenance of roads.

Sindh Zakat Minister Dost Muhammad Rahimoon held a public hearing at Circuit House on Tuesday.


According to a handout issued by the Sindh information department, he said that Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) chairperson Asif Ali Zardari has directed to hold public hearings to redress people’s problems.

He said the PPP has its roots among the people and the party’s provincial government will make all efforts to redress people’s problems.

Chief Minister Qaim Ali Shah has directed the minister for works and services to carry out the repair and maintenance of roads across Sindh including Naushero Feroze, he told the people.

Moreover, he promised that even though the Zakat budgets for all districts were limited, they would be increased soon.

The minister said the complaints heard at the public hearings will be conveyed to the relevant departments.
