Opinions page is supposed to carry articles that give constructive opinion to readers.
LAHORE CANTT: This is with reference to the weekly columns of your writer Kamran Shafi. I would say that his shyness or embarrassment to use his last rank with his name stems from how proud he was of being a soldier and how proud the army is of him. The opinions page is supposed to carry articles that give constructive opinion to readers and should not be used to make readers read bitter memoirs of a columnist.
