ISLAMABAD: The German government vowed to extend a helping hand to the internally displaced persons (IDPs) of North Waziristan with their assistance to the World Food Programme through the ‘Enhancing Food and Nutrition Security and Rebuilding Social Cohesion’ project. The project will provide one million Euros for the relief work, said a statement released by the German Embassy on Thursday. “We will support the Government of Pakistan in building social cohesion in Fata and halt the decline in nutritional status in food-insecure areas,” the statement said.
