Transport services at Karachi University

Letter July 31, 2014
The Sindh governor should give a special fund to the university to repair all the out of order buses.

KARACHI: I would like to appeal to Sindh Governor Dr Ishratul Ebad Khan to take notice of Karachi University which is plagued by insufficient transport arrangements. Many buses which are used to transport students are not running and many have technical faults in the engines.

Many buses have developed faults and need to be repaired. The Sindh governor should give a special fund to the university to repair all the out of order buses. The university administration should get the buses repaired so that students are able to utilise university-provided transport instead of going through the travails of using public transport. If the government of Sindh releases a sufficient amount, all university buses would be repaired and students would be able to access a safe and hassle-free journey to one of the key educational institutions of Karachi.
