MULTAN: Multan Railway employees have blocked the railway track in protest against a Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) MPA who  allegedly tortured a Railways employee, Express News reported on Monday.

PTI MPA Majeed Niazi allegedly tortured gatekeeper Tahir Mehmood on Sunday night after he kept the MPA waiting and did not open the gate.

Defending himself, the MPA, while talking to Express News, denied beating anyone up. Instead, he contended that when he and his companions tried to open the railway track which was shut for over three hours, railway employees started beating them up.

Furthermore, he said that his companions were injured and are being treated in a hospital.

By the content of the report, headlines could be: "Railway employees beat up PTI MPA after keeping him waiting for 3 hours".

There are allegations from both sides without investigation or verification, instead of neutral headline, editor chose anti-PTI line.

PTI MPA have denied this incident & have said that when he and his companions tried to open the railway track which was shut for over three hours, railway employees started beating them up. Furthermore, he said that his companions were injured and are being treated in a hospital. well this act should be investigated by railway Police & whoever is found guilty should be punished.
