Leader of terrorists involved in Raiwind shootout arrested from Okara

Leader, identified as Maulvi Ishaq, arrested from the Hujra Shah Muqeem area of tehsil Depalpur in Okara.

HUJRA SHAH MUQEEM: Intelligence agencies on Thursday arrested the alleged leader of terrorists involved in the shootout in Raiwind, Lahore, Express News reported.

The leader, who was reportedly identified as Maulvi Ishaq, was arrested from the Hujra Shah Muqeem area of tehsil Depalpur in Okara.

Ishaq has been taken to an undisclosed location for interrogation.

On July 17, security forces had killed two militants and overran their hideout located within a few kilometres of the premier’s family home in Raiwind in a 10-hour long operation.

According to intelligence officials, both militants had hailed from district Okara and received training from Miramshah.
