Civic facilities: ‘Redress problems of the people’

KARACHI: Commissioner Shoaib Ahmed Siddiqui has directed all the deputy and assistant commissioners to organise public hearings at sub-divisional level to redress the problems of the masses. He also directed them to develop effective coordination with prominent authorities of their respective constituencies so that steps can be taken to provide relief to the masses. He expressed these views while addressing the third ‘Deputy Commissioners’ Conference’ at his office, according to a statement issued on Tuesday. The meeting also discussed matters related to the law and order situation, arrangements for monsoon, the anti-encroachment drive and other important issues.
