ANF: Six drug-peddlers held; heroin, hashish seized

The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) arrested six suspects and recovered hashish and heroin from their possession.


On a tip-off, the ANF raided a hideout and arrested Afzal Mahmood, a resident of Chakwal, and Muhammad Shehzad, a resident of Peshawar, while recovering six kg of heroin from their possession.


Meanwhile, the ANF team intercepted a Honda Civic (LXO-7558) at Iqbal Shaheed Toll Plaza on GT Road near Attock and recovered six kg of hashish from the car.


The team also detained two accused, identified as Shakir Ullah, a resident of Rawalpindi and Muhammad Sohail, a resident of Abbotabad for further investigation.


In a separate incident, the ANF team arrested Muhammad Naseer, a resident of Rawalpindi and Bahadur Khan, a resident of Attock, and recovered four kg of hashish from their possession.


The suspects were going towards Attock on a motorcycle, while carrying the contraband. Separate cases have been registered under the relevant laws.
