131 tons of ration collected and dispatched to Bannu: Asim Bajwa

Collection points have been increased to 53 across Pakistan, Bajwa says.

The entire nation is pledging rations, money and other relief goods, and is enthusiastically depositing their contributions at collection points established by the Army, Director General of Inter Services Public Relations (DG-ISPR) Asim Salim Bajwa said on Facebook.

Collection points have been increased to 53 across the country and 131 tons of ration have been collected and dispatched to Bannu uptil now, he stated.

Bajwa also said that 21,543 packets of rations, weighing 100kg each, have been distributed among IDPs at six relief delivery points which were established by the army in collaboration with civil administration at Bannu, DI Khan and Tank.

Bajwa added that 11 tons of fodder have also been provided for the cattle and other animals that IDPs have taken with them. Veterinary treatment was given to 4,488 cattle, Bajwa stated, adding that 28,345 poultry were also vaccinated.
