Did you know? Shahid Kapoor gifts Mercedes to dad for his birthday

Bollywood actor Shahid Kapoor went the extra mile for his father, veteran actor Pankaj Kapur. On his 60th birthday (May 29), he gifted him a brand new Mercedes. Not only did Pankaj’s son surprise him with the luxurious car, but also received a whopping 153 gifts from his wife, actor Supriya Pathak, reported the Indian Express.

Pankaj shared that this was his most special birthday ever as his entire family came together to celebrate it. Other than his wife and Shahid, Pankaj’s family includes his two other children. Ruhaan Kapur and Sanah Kapur.

The family celebrated the occasion at a club in Mumbai, which was attended by celebrities such as Vidya Balan, Sudhir Mishra, Dia Mirza and fiancé Sahil Sanghi and Vidhu Vinod Chopra.

Pankaj has been part of the Bollywood industry for the past 32 years and some of his most popular films include Raakh (1989) and Ek Doctor Ki Maut (1991). The National Film Award-winning actor has also earned his spurs in television and on stage. Popularly known to work in art and independent projects, Pankaj’s contribution to the industry has been invaluable.
