Amid signs of deepening fissures within the ranks of the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), a senior leader of the group has revealed that Khan Said alias Sajna has ‘refused’ to accept his dismissal as head of the militant group’s South Waziristan chapter.
Sajna had been removed as commander of the South Waziristan region by TTP chief Maulvi Fazlullah after clashes between his supporters and a rival faction led by Sheharyar Mehsud. The clashes, which lasted several days, resulted in the death of a number of Taliban fighters.
“Sajna was removed last week through a special order by the respected Ameer,” a Taliban leader requesting anonymity said. “The Taliban leadership council had also endorsed the decision,” he added.
Differences within TTP ranks surfaced over control of leadership in South Waziristan, with Sajna and Sheharyar clashing over who would lead the group in the region. The two had been at odds following the killing of the TTP deputy chief and head of the group in South Waziristan Waliur Rehman Mehsud in May last year.

People please stop giving these humantarian lectures on TTP internal fights. The way I see it, there is so much power and money involved at the top that these thugs are killing each other. There are no morals and there were'nt any, it was always about power. AAAAAH I just realized the reason for TTP's talking with the govt..because of their internal issues they dont want a full on war with the Army so they are using delay tatics untill they resolve there issues and reunite to fight.

Unfortunately our society is known to use respectful words with disrespectful events or personalities. Thats the reason Pakistani is sinking down the world gutter (ethically / morally / socially -- you name it).
Just like it's very normal in our society to poke jokes at Angels (Farishtay) or in some cases Allah.

before people start commenting "good, let them kill each other!!!," lets not forget our humanism. It's no good to see people die, be it bad or good. Imagine if you were born into taliban family.. These people were brain washed. The leaders are out there for self gain and brain washing kids into fighting for their gain. If someone has to die, it has to be the leaders of these groups. of course ill save an innocent over a bad guy, but still, killing is bad.
