CHITRAL:
A man and his son were killed and another person injured in a shootout between two groups over a land dispute in Darosh on Sunday.
An official of the Darosh police said in the early hours of Sunday morning, an exchange of fire ensued between Masihul Mulk and Noorul Mulk groups which resulted in the deaths of Noorul Mulk and his son Samiul Mulk while Moazazul Mulk from the other group was severely injured.
The official added the injured was taken to a nearby hospital where he was under treatment while the police launched a search operation in the area and arrested Maqsoodul Mulk, Gul Ahmad and Madaz Khan.
A case was filed against the accused under Section 302 of the Pakistan Penal Code and further investigation is under way.
