Key TTP commander killed: reports

Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan's Adnan Afridi shot dead by unknown persons in Naseerabad area of Rawalpindi, say reports.

A key commander of the Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), Adnan Afridi, is reported to have been shot dead by unknown persons in the Naseerabad area of Rawalpindi.

On Saturday, officials said that the dead body of the slain commander was found on the premises of the Westreeg jail in Rawalpindi on Friday night which was later shifted to the District Headquarters Hospital.

The hospital has reportedly confirmed the death and identity of the body.

Police have initiated investigations, say officials.
