Cleaning greenbelts: KMC starts beautifying coastal areas
Beautification campaign for coastal areas has been started by the Karachi Metropolitan Corporation.
KARACHI:
A beautification campaign for the coastal areas, which comprises developing green belts, roundabouts and parks, has been started by the Karachi Metropolitan Corporation. The parks director-general inspected the development work and confirmed that it will be complete by April 23, said a statement on Tuesday. Almost 500 parks and horticulture officials are currently working on cleaning the greenbelts by trimming grass and trees.
