Do not interfere in Syria

Letter April 19, 2014
Government is strongly advised not to enter into the Syrian conflict, directly or indirectly.

SOHBATPUR, JACOBABAD DISTRICT: Pakistan faces myriad problems both on the internal as well external fronts.

It would be a foolish decision to interfere in the internal affairs of a country which is not only many thousand miles away from us, but also one with which Pakistan has little or no contact. Therefore, the government is strongly advised not to enter into the Syrian conflict, directly or indirectly, neither at the behest of a friendly country nor for the sake of a few hundred million dollars.
