PESHAWAR:

The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) K-P chapter’s leadership claims the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government is misguiding people about the real situation behind Pesco’s handover to the province.

These remarks were made in the wake of last Sunday when K-P Minister for Information Shah Farman accused the centre of not showing any interest in handing over Pesco to K-P.

“The K-P government asked for Pesco and when the centre agreed to handover the company, K-P backed off,” claimed PML-N provincial information secretary Nasir Khan Musazai on Thursday. PML-N K-P General Secretary Rahmat Salam Khattak said instead of threatening to protest, K-P’s ministers should focus on solving the issue.
