LONDON: STJ Advisors (STJ), a leading independent global capital markets advisory firm, announced the appointment of Muddassar Malik, co-founder and former managing director of BMA Capital, as senior advisor. STJ specialises in advising issuers and shareholders, including governments, on capital market transactions. The appointment reflects the growing need for large government organisations and private business groups in Pakistan to raise capital in the international markets in the most efficient manner. “We are excited that the Pakistan government has reinitiated its privatisation programme,” said STJ Founder and Managing Partner John St. John. “This, along with large issues of capital from companies in high growth sectors, will stimulate further investment into Pakistan.”
