In government hospitals there are no proper or specialised arrangements for treating dengue patients.
KARACHI: I would like to draw the attention of the authorities concerned to the spread of dengue fever.
So far, there is no appropriate or reliable treatment for this painful malady. Moreover, in private clinics, specialists often pay more attention to dengue patients but in government hospitals there are no proper or specialised arrangements for treating dengue patients. The worrying fact that the authorities need to know is that private care is not affordable for all citizens. Therefore, steps must be taken to provide proper facilities in government hospitals for the treatment of dengue patients.
