ISLAMABAD:

The Nilore police, in light of a court order, have booked a woman and three accomplices for allegedly kidnapping a man.

Sohail Khan said he first approached the police to file a complaint over the kidnapping of his brother, Shoaib Abbasi, allegedly by Abbasi’s wife Tanzila, Muhammad Aslam, Muhammad Anwar and Muhammad Nazir, but the police refused to register the case.

He said that the police’s reluctance led him to approach the court to direct the police to register the case and retrieve his brother.

Khan claimed that although the police registered a case, they were still protecting the alleged kidnappers.
