Territorial integrity: ‘Pakistan supports unity of Ukraine’

Senator says Ukraine had always supported Pakistan by providing good quality defence equipment.

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan fully supports the unity, territorial integrity, sovereignty and independence of Ukraine, and rejects any attempt to change internationally recognised borders, Chairman Senate Defence Committee, Senator Mushahid Hussain said talking to Ambassador of Ukraine Volodymyr Lakomov. Ukraine had always supported Pakistan by providing good quality defence equipment that helped in national security, the senator said. Mushahid Hussain called for a peaceful resolution of Ukraine crisis. The ambassador of Ukraine explained the position of the government of Ukraine and also briefed Senate defence committee chief on recent development in his country.
