Chief Minister Qaim Ali Shah and members of his group enjoyed quite a feast when they paid a visit to Tharparkar, with some saying the dinner at Circuit House Mithi was akin to a ‘wedding feast’.
The CM and his team reportedly enjoyed a dinner of fried fish, tikkas, biryani, malai boti, koftas and roti.
According to a report by Express News, the CM was accompanied by members of his cabinet and other officials.
He was visiting the drought-stricken area to pay his condolences to affected families.
Guests at the dinner jostled with each other for more food, setting aside all etiquette.

Once when Zulificar Bhutto was traveling in Johi taluka in Sindhi he stopped his caravan to speak to a Hari who was working in the field, He walked up to him and told him who he was , and asked when the time comes to Vote will he(Hari) vote for him the Hari said yes but on the condition you have a meal with me Taken aback ZAB suprized! asked where is your meal he said right here it was a "Bajar ki rooti" and "Lassi" What amazed people in his entourage like Abdullah Shah and Kamal Azfar (among others ) that ZAB eat the whole meal thanked the Hari and left . I guess PPP has forgotten their ROOTS and now it's back to the party of wadera'sand Jahils trust me this is a very authentic story just go and ask Kamal Azfar !

Their is no law and order at such places. The Vadera acts as the God of the village. He can pick any girl from any house he wants. No media will be there to report it. So please dont criticize them. What you can do is Stop supporting PPP atleast in Urban areas and start supporting those parties who have started to make positive changes.

@ria: Just for your information: India has a much higher percentage of poor people than Pakistan! We don't even need to talk about children starving in India everyday! And India has the highest rate of girls being killed before or directly after their birth! More than 60% of Indians don't have a toilet. So before pointing your fingers towards Pakistan, talk about your own country first!

Well I can't see Qaim Ali Shah, nor the date, time or venue can be confirmed in this picture. But, this is true that he/they might be enjoying way better dinner or lunch somewhere Even a single death can be a reason of revolution as hunger creates violence, but I am really concerned that Why Pakistani Nation doesn't even bother of such incident? No protests no nothing. One can easily identify us as dead nation over the silence of such a big issue. May Allah bless us all with feeling or care and peace for others.

This indicates how unaware the politicians of Sindh are to sensibilities of its people. This shows how little the starving and dyiing people of Tharparkar mean to them.

At least two of the four people in this photograph are journalists, presumably accompanying the CM to extol of his largesse and generosity towards the people of Thar! Judging by the pile of food on their plates, it seems the provincial government is ensuring people are well fed!

It is really a pity as to how these politicians are behaving!! i am drastically shocked and feel embarassed to be a Pakistani for i enjoy meals every hour and kids at Thakparkar are starving out of death!! Is this how the government should behave when they are to visit a desolated area such as this??? I believe such a visit was not needed then...if you can enjoy fish tikkas, please provide them with just bread and water for GOD'S sake!!!!!

Due to this heavy eatings the C.M. of Sindh was looking Tuberculosis patient before taking the charge of C.M. now he is looking healthy. The Sindh Festival was arranged by Sindh Government and songs were playing and these people were dancing to celebrate this drought and miseries of the people of Tharparkar and Mithi.
Nobody has any courage to catch these fishes and black ships only Almighty God will catch them through their necks.

The mourner´s simple meal from the family after burying their dead is called in Punjabi language Tosa and in many European cultures the Funeral Feast (Latin: Epulum funebre).
Pakistani politicians celebrate and enjoy a Gourmet Tosa of shroudless citizens, prepared with 12 spices and foreign drinks.
