This or that? Black vs Black

Who wore the look better, Nargis or Pallavi? You decide!

March 04, 2014

It was a jumpsuit showdown at the 6th Mirchi Music Awards 2014, with black being the colour of choice for these two beauties.

Who wore the look better, Nargis or Pallavi? You decide!

Pallavi Sharda

Hair and make-up

Soft curls swept to one side, a classic and somewhat safe choice for Sharda. As for her make-up, we’d say the same. While a red lip is always considered bold, it seems to have become a go-to for celebrities wearing black. It’s time to mix it up.

Outfit

Sharda’s jumpsuit is less form fitted, with palazzo pants and draped sleeves. The V-neck and cinched waist is similar to Nargis Fakhri’s attire. We’ll let you decide which one looks better.

Shoes and accessories

Full points for Sharda on this count! Hoop earrings, along with a golden belt and cuff, Sharda did exactly what we wished Nargis would. We can’t see her shoes unfortunately, and we would have opted for a golden clutch instead of this staple black, but overall, Sharda has nailed this look.

Nargis Fakhri

Hair and make-up

Actor Nargis Fakhri has tied her hair back in a simple, smooth ponytail, showing off her delicate features. Her make-up is light and flawless. With slightly smokey eyes and a light pink lip colour, her minimalistic look is really working for her.

Outfit

While her jumpsuit is a tad plain, we love the cut. With a V-neck and belt cinched at the waist, this outfit flatters Nargis’ figure and she looks breath taking.

Shoes and accessories

Boring is the word. With empty earlobes, no clutch and a simple pair of black high-heeled pumps, Nargis has failed us in this department. Pops of colour would have done wonders for this look. Even a silver belt to match her cuff would have really brought the look together. Finishing touches are essential! Someone call Nargis’s stylist stat.
