The explosion took place near a pick-up stand and under-construction car repairing shop in the Scheme Chowk area, however, the exact nature of the blast is not known as yet.
Police have cordoned off the area and started initial investigation.
Rescue workers have reached the blast site and shifted the injured to the Lady Reading Hospital.
Three of the injured are children, reported Express News.
The explosion was heard far and wide and a crater was formed due to the intensity of the blast.

Every one should now replace their party flags (MQM, PPP, PTI etc) with the NATIONAL FLAG on their houses and mohallas.
ALL politician (and mullahs) should PUBLICLY visit Pak troops around the country and boost their morale, and let them know the whole country behind them.

A humble advice to the government: Launch a military offensive. Announce that the nations on war. Bomb these animals! ORELSE, if you let this happen, in no time they'll be ruling over you. History is witness to what happens to such lousy wussy leaders.
