Qaimoos was elected as a member of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa assembly from PK-86 Swat in the May 11 general elections.
Awami National Party leader Haider Ali had challenged the election in the constituency and accused Qaimoos of rigging.
Today, the election tribunal issued its verdict and ordered re-election in the constituency.
Earlier, re-polling was ordered in four polling stations for women in PK-81 Swat-II after the election tribunal received an application providing proof of mass rigging on Election Day.

@FFarooq: Atleast something is being done against the corrupt. Not like Khi and Punjab where the corrupt go scot free.
It is the second such case in KPK after PTI candidate suspension ..... Looks like in KPK, it was the competition of rigging rather than votes.
Fake election, fake government.
@Mirza: Dont wonder to much. You come here first, then we will tell you how we help others win elections.
@Mirza: the 2013 polls were the first of its kind where all the political parties claimed that rigging took place, including the MQM,ANP and PPP..Rigging reportedly took place in all the four provinces of Pakistan so singling out two parties is pointless. The good news is,till yesterday the literati claimed these were the most free and fair elections ever but now they have got to a point where they just choose to look the other way when every now and then evidences of election rigging surface.Rigging has to be investigated and this whole system of polls fixed, including introducing e-voting.The future of democracy lies in the civilian hands and free and fair elections, the confidence of Pakistanis is restoring in Democracy and we have to get it strengthened.
@Mirza: Talking of peace does not make you a supporter of Taliban. Does talking of peace with India makes PPP or any other party a pro Indian party?
In each case the two Taliban supported rightwing parties are found to be responsible for rigging in the polls. The election was a walkover for both PTI and pml by the help of TTP. No wonder these two parties keep accusing each other of rigging.
