Blast in Charsadda kills woman, two children

CHARSADDA: A blast in Charsadda killed three people of the same family including a woman and two children on Monday.

Ajmir Shah, a police official in Charsadda told The Express Tribune that unidentified persons had planted a bomb at 4am at a guest house.

Three rooms of the guest house were damaged in the blast in addition to destroying another house where the woman and her two children were killed.

The two children were reportedly two and 11 years of age.

Another child was injured in the explosion as well. The child was taken to DHQ hospital for medical assistance.

Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS) official Kiramat Shah told The Express Tribune that it is not clear where the blast took place.

Further investigation is underway. A case has not been registered yet.

@ Instantaneous It seems that you have never heard or read Imran Khan (media's darling in Pakistan) and his statements making headlines in the country. He has repeatedly reiterated that "drone attacks are the root cause of terrorism" http://www.dawn.com/news/1020501/drone-strikes-root-cause-of-terrorism-imran Although cricketer-turned-charityworker-turned politician Imran Khan has the habit of over-simplifying every issue yet the people are right to ask him about the cause of bomb blast in Charsadda.
