I strongly believe he was fired to hide govt mismanagement, and his efforts in exposing electoral fraud.
DETROIT, MICHIGAN, USA: I believe that NADRA Chairman Tariq Malik has been doing an outstanding job. He introduced revolutionary changes in NADRA, like the smart card, the transparent funds disbursement for the Benazir Income Support Programme, funds disbursement for internally displaced people, detecting tax evaders, electoral rolls, providing professional services to other countries, etc. NADRA has become one of the most prestigious organisations of the country. Most importantly, we have not heard stories of corruption from this organisation under Mr Malik’s watch.
I strongly believe that he was fired to hide government mismanagement and because of his efforts in exposing electoral fraud. It is important that he stays on in this job until the nation knows the true story of the elections. Mr Malik deserves better support from the media and civil society.
