I live in Delhi Colony, Karachi, and did not observe any polio vaccination team on the ground.
KARACHI: This is with reference to the story “Polio-endemic countries: Pakistan tops list with 72 cases this year” (December 5). I am very sorry to see this news story about the surfacing of polio cases. I live in Delhi Colony, Karachi, and did not observe any polio vaccination team on the ground and many children missed their vaccinations.
I fear that perhaps, some vaccinators may be taking advantage of the situation and ignoring some areas and towns and instead, showing them as areas where parents refused to get their children vaccinated.
