Burger King looking to expand

MCR Pakistan (Private) Ltd is also looking forward to opening more outlets and expanding across the country.

Burger King Holdings Inc. Executive Vice-President and Asia Pacific President Elias Diaz Sese is looking forward to expanding business in the country and termed Pakistan ‘an ideal place’ for investment.


“Pakistan is an ideal country for investment and we are here to show the commitment of successful operations in Pakistan,” said Sese.

MCR Pakistan (Private) Ltd, the master franchisee of Burger King Pakistan, is also looking forward to opening more outlets and expanding across the country.

“MCR Pakistan has so far opened four outlets in Karachi. We are satisfied with the law-and-order situation in the city and across the country as well. We may open an outlet in Korangi.”

The arrival of the franchise is seen as an opportunity to yield employment and other economic opportunities.

The world's most well-known fast food corporation is in damage control mode after an internal resource that the company created for its employees embarrassingly advised them to stop eating its own food offerings. CNN reports that the McDonald's corporation officially shut down its so-called "McResource Line" after an official nutrition guide posted on the site warned McDonald's employees that eating a burger, fries and a Coke -- the staple meal at McDonald's -- is an "unhealthy choice" when it comes to food.

All fast food chains are almost same, nothing special! But i doubt any one of these beat local specialities of Pakistan! Around the world, these fast foods are the cheapest everyone can afford it. But its not the case for Pakistan market, where these are considered posh eatery which they certainly not!
