A body was found in a trunk in Landi Akhun Ahmad, Ring Road on Thursday within the jurisdiction of the Pishtakhara police station.
The authorities identified the deceased as Azmat Khan from Shabqadar. He was a resident of Khan Mast Colony in Yakatoot.
“The man was shot and his body was put in a trunk and left in a vacant plot on Ring Road,” said a police official. “His mobile phone, driving license and money were also found in the trunk.”
He added that people had spotted the box and informed them about it.
On November 5, at least 256 suspects were arrested in a joint search operation conducted by the police and security forces in various areas of Yakatoot.
