Kill and dump: Three bullet-riddled bodies found in Hangu

Three bullet-riddled bodies were found along the roadside in Chapar, on the outskirts of Hangu city, on Wednesday.


According to Hangu police official Shakirullah Khan, two bodies were found in the jurisdiction of the city police while the third was found in Doaba. “Initial investigation revealed the deceased had been kidnapped by unidentified militants, who murdered and dumped the bodies in Chapar and Doaba areas,” he said.

Khan added two of the deceased were identified as Ali Haider, a resident of Peshawar, and Azbar Gul, a resident of Bara, Khyber Agency. The identity of the third person could not be ascertained till the filing of this report. “Cases have been filed against unidentified militants and further investigation is underway,” said Khan.
