Crackdown: Sheesha cafes sealed at DPO’s order
Police have registered cases against owners of the cafes.
BAHAWALPUR:
District Police Officer Sohail Habib Tajik has ordered a crackdown on sheesha cafes in the district. Civil Lines police on Tuesday raided the Huqqa Pani Sheesha Cafe near Mirch Masala Restaurant and arrested the receptionist Muhammad Asif. They also confiscated flavoured tobacco.
Baghdadul Jadeed police sealed the Red Dragon Smoke Club, at One Unit Chowk and arrested an employee of the cafe, Muhammad Shiraz. Cantonment police sealed two sheesha cafes in Model Town A - Aladdin Sheesha Cafe and Silver Smoke Cafe. Police have registered cases against owners of the cafes.
