He also demanded that India call back their 800,000 soldiers from Indian Kashmir.
Majeed was holding a press conference today where he stated that that the Indian Army has been firing in multiple sectors of Pakistan including the sectors of Nakyal, Lajwant, Rawalakot, Forward Kahuta and Sialkot.
He further stated that the continuous shelling and bombardment has affected 12 sectors of AJK while India persists on destroying peace in the region.
Commenting on the ongoing tensions on LoC, he stated that the prevailing situation has raised the prospects of war between the two countries.
Indian Army has also kidnapped four civilians from the area in Wadi Neelam and the local residents are now being forced to flee from the area.
The continuing violation of the ceasefire agreement on the LoC has created tensions in the region. The two countries agreed to a ceasefire along the LoC in November 2003, but skirmishes have flared across the heavily-militarised Line of Control (LoC), the de facto border in Kashmir, in recent weeks, with both sides blaming each other for having violated the agreement.
However, Pakistan has maintained that it seeks to resolve all disputes with the neighbouring country through peace talks.

@ModiFied: Absolutely right.
As a Kashmiri I want a say in the future of Kashmir. Only the people of Kashmir can decide either full independence or staying with either Pakistan or India. We are fed up of both and want to be united and free.
@Arindom: Please do your research AJK PM belongs to District Mirpur Of Kashmir
@dr shabir choudhry:
"To true sons of JK, both India and Pakistan are occupiers, and are there against our will. We want to be independent of both countries."
That's an interesting point.
Who are the true sons of JK?
Occupying forces of muslims or the Hindu Pandits/buddhists who have lived there for over 5000 years, even before the birth of Islam?
Funny, how Pakistanis try to argue using logic and shoot their own foot.
@dr shabir choudhry:
what is provisional accession ???
How come a Panjabi is the PM/CM of Pakistani Kashmir? Looks like the Pakistani Panjabis want whole of Kashmir ethnically cleansed of Kashmiris and replaced by Panjabis.
@gp65:
"@Ghulam: Do you see the contradiction in calling it ‘Azaad’ Jammu and Kashmir and then also saying it is an integral part of Pakistan? "
Also, the official position of Pakistan is that AJK/GB are not part of Pakistan but are disputed territories. The constitution of Pakistan does not name AJK/GB as integral part of Pakistan while the Indian constitution does.
Pakistanis have been mis-informed about AJK/GB status by the Establishment.
@gp65: Please don't mislead people, Jammu and Kashmir State is legally not part of any country. To true sons of JK, both India and Pakistan are occupiers, and are there against our will. We want to be independent of both countries.
Pakistan attacked our country Jammu and Kashmir by violating the Standstill Agreement (between the Maharajah of JK and Pakistan) on 22 October 1947 which resulted in death of thousands of innocent people, rapes of women and kidnapping of women and girls. It also resulted in the Ruler of JK seeking help from India. The Indian forces, after provisional accession landed in Kashmir on 27 October 1947, and our motherland was divided between India and Pakistan.
In other words if there was no Pakistani sponsored attack on 22 Oct, then there was good chance that we would have been independent country.
Could any one please enlightened me whether UN even consider AJK as country? It is considered as Pakistan Occupied Kashmir. I think this PM first try to get a real "free" status before pleading to UN.
@Rabbani: Yes it amuses me and I love it.
@Rabbani:
Frankly It will be amusing to anybody who knows about how kashmir was named.
@Ghulam: How it is integral part of Pakistan? Where are the facts?
as if united nations has the authority to act against indian might.keep dreaming losers
Kashmir is an integral part of Pakistan. There is no need to hold plebiscite in AJK, but a dire need for the same in IOK. Daily demonstrations and violence against oppressive occupation are taking place in IOK only.
@Pk
Hahahahaha... What a pathetic piece of joke. I hope it amuses your fellow Indians too.
He also demanded that India call back their 800,000 soldiers from Indian Kashmir.
That is soo funny!!
@Pakistani:
UN force can deployed at LOC
Typical Pakistani mindset. I can't blame you considering that you guys have experience of having foreign army on your land so, Its no surprise to hear something like that from you.
However, if you ever feel that it is necessary then keep them on your side of boarder coz India will never allow foreign army to land in their territory.
@Pk: Loved your comment. Can't stop laughing...
This man is not kashmiri..he is a punjabi..which again proves India's article 360 vs pakistani punjabi's in kashmir..no plebiscite can happen.....pakistan have change demographics
"AJK prime minister demands UN intervention on LoC"" ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Pls dont forget to share what the UN responded with.
Once the UN seals the border and prevents any militants coming into India from Pakistan, the firing shall stop.
But UN forces should be very careful of POK Jihadis, they should not be caught in firing from terrorists like they were trapped in Syria.
In the United Nations Assembly, A representative from India began:
"Before begining my speech I want to tell you a very very old story about Rishi kashyap of kashmir, after whom kashmir is named. When he found a beautiful lake, he thought-"What a good opportunity to have a bath",
He removed his clothes,put them aside on d rock and entered the water.When he got out and wantd to dress, his clothes had vanished.
A Pakistani had stolen them!
'The Pakistani representative in Assembly jumped up furiously n shouted "what are you talking about? The Pakistanis weren't there then."
Indian representative smiled and said,
"And now that we have made that clear, i'll begin my speech.
"And they say Kashmir belongs to them".
YAAAAAAAWWWWWNNNNN
What a foolish man, he should for once read UN resolution on Kashmir and think who is supposed to withdraw forces from Kashmir and who did not and why plebiscite could not take place in Kashmir. Crazy fellow.
Now that this gentleman has asked, UN will stop all of its other business and take this matter up.
what kind of a "news" is this?
Yaawn!
Makes sense
