QUETTA: The Balochistan High Court on Tuesday rejected a bail application filed by former military ruler Pervez Musharraf in the Nawab Akbar Bugti killing case. Meanwhile, an anti-terrorism court in Quetta ordered that Musharraf be presented before it in the next hearing. The bench had reserved the judgment on July 22 after the ATC-Quetta-I rejected Musharraf’s bail application. Meanwhile, ATC Judge Muhammad Ismail Baloch expressed resentment over former provincial home minister Shoaib Nosharwani’s failure to appear before the bench. Issuing another arrest warrant for Musharraf, he remarked that despite the court orders the main accused was not being produced before the court. The judge was also upset that Musharraf was not in custody. Musharraf was asked to appear in court on August 19.
