Voting stopped at NA-46: Claims of bogus votes at Jalozai camp

Voting has been suspended at NA-46.

The Jalozai camp polling station was in a ruckus after candidates said displaced people were fakes.

Some commented that last election’s winner Hamidullah Jan Afridi was working to manipulate the results and had planted bogus.

NA-38 postponed as well

According to a press release, the poll has been postponed pursuant to the report, dated May 10, 2013, received from the Political Agent/District Returning Officer, Kurram Agency, regarding law and order situation in Kurram Agency and in exercise of the powers under section 25 of the Representation of the People Act, 1976 and all other powers enabling it in that behalf.
