Dengue season: ‘No half-sleeved shirts, shorts allowed’

LAHORE: Schools located in Samanabad that do not follow the preventive measures prescribed by the provincial government for curbing dengue were warned of strict action on Thursday. Samanabad Town Emergency Response Committee on Dengue Chairman Muhammad Aslam Kamboh told town administration officials to seal the schools which are found violating the code. He asked school administrations to enforce the ban, recommended by the government, on wearing half-sleeved shirts and shorts. He also directed that the stores and water tanks at schools should be checked.
