Roadside Bomb: BNP-A leader attacked in Panjgur

The convoy was passing through Panjgur when the roadside bomb exploded.

QUETTA: A convoy carrying Balochistan National Party-Awami leader Mir Asadullah Baloch was hit by a bomb in Panjgur on Monday.

The convoy was passing through the area when a roadside bomb detonated just as the vehicle passed, Levies sources said. Mir and his associates appeared unhurt even though two of the vehicles were damaged in the blast, the sources added.

Law enforcement personnel rushed to the site and cordoned off the entire area for any signs of suspects. A search operation was launched shortly afterwards. The attack is being investigated further.
