PESHAWAR: Three persons including the driver of a truck carrying Nato supplies for international forces fighting against Taliban in Afghanistan sustained injuries after unknown armed men attacked the convoy in Jamrud tehsil of Khyber Agency on Friday.

The injured persons were later shifted to Hayatabad Medical Complex (HMC) where according to doctors health condition of the injured persons was satisfactory.

On March 14, driver of another truck transporting Nato supplies was injured when unidentified militants opened fire at him in the same tehsil.

On February 19, a road-side bomb-explosion destroyed a truck carrying Nato supplies however no human loss was reported.
