LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League (Quaid) President Shujaat Hussain and Secretary General Mushahid Hussain have said the fire in Joseph Colony was not mere negligence but a conspiracy.
They were speaking to the media after having returned from visiting camps where the victims have been placed. They stressed that the incident and its aftermath should not be forgotten once this government ends. Hussain said non-Muslims enjoy the same rights in Pakistan as Muslims .
He said the affected must be taken care of regardless of which caretaker government takes over in the Punjab. He said the rioters knew that no one would stop them.
