Water, please

Letter March 04, 2013
Since February 6, water supply to hundreds of homes in the Iqbal Town has been suspended.

RAWALPINDI: I want to draw the kind attention of the prime minister of Pakistan and the ministers concerned through your esteemed newspaper towards a most serious problem being faced by the residents of Iqbal Town in Rawalpindi.

Since February 6, water supply to hundreds of homes in the town has been suspended. Dozens of complaints have been lodged with the local WASA office but in vain. Because no one is listening to us, we have no choice but to take our problem to the media in the hope that someone in a position of authority will come to our aid.
