Responding to a call attention notice in the National Assembly Tuesday, Warraich said that the terrorists who were defeated in Swat are taking shelter in Karachi and were not perpetrating nefarious activities.
The minister for state said that the law enforcement agencies including police are responding to the situation and playing their due role.
Warraich added that strict action has been taken against persons involved in illegal supply of explosives in the provincial megalopolis. He added that as many as 61 people were arrested last year and 31 already put behind bars since January, 2013 in Karachi. Authorities had also recovered huge caches of arms and ammunition along with 209 kilogram of explosives last year.
